𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐏𝐢𝐚 𝐍𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐨 is a youth worker and consultant in the field of youth communication and youth participation. Currently, she coordinates the Young European Ambassadors (YEAs) network of the EUNEIGHBOURS EAST communication project, funded by the European Commission, and contributes to several European projects in the field of youth. Her journey in Europe began in 2016, with the discovery of Erasmus+ projects. Since then, she has been passionate about the concept of life-long learning and non-formal education. In 2017, she participated in the Council of Europe (CoE) World Forum of Democracy as a representative of Italian youth, and in 2018, she was selected as a youth delegate for the CoE Congress of Local and Regional Authorities. In 2019, she organized the TEDxUninaFedericoII. In 2021, she received her master’s degree in Business Administration, from the University of Naples Federico II. He subsequently worked on the Apple Developer Academy project in Naples, before starting a freelancing career.
In 2023, she co-founded the Marea Media collective, an association with the aim of countering disinformation and current narratives about Southern Italy and the Mediterranean area. Over the years, she has carried out many other experiences, such as volunteering at Farm Cultural Park, the Europe Mobile project and contributing to various NGOs at the local and national level. She is passionate about art, urban regeneration and participative processes
